Dr. Faraone is an Assistant Professor in the Civil, Construction, Environmental Engineering at San Diego State since 2021! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Faraone is passionate about earthquake-related hazards and seismic resilience of both structural and non-structural components and systems. Her previous research focused on full-scale structural testing aimed at evaluating the response of anchorage in mixed mode cracked concrete shear walls. Besides large-scale structural testing, Dr. Faraone is interested in using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) imagery to assess changes, such as earthquake-induced displacements, in structures and infrastructures over time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
